PASERA: Serbia is important to Intesa Sanpaolo group
The President of the Administrative Board of Intesa Sanpaolo, Corrado Passera, stated that Serbia was extremely important spot on the map of future development of that banking group, so that the activities of the group in the following period would be focused on the consolidation of the existing market position.
The announcement of improvement of positions in the region means that the activities, estimated to have good perspectives for creation of greater value, will be taken. That was announced by "Banca Intesa" in Belgrade.
At the conference held in the headquarters of the bank in Milan, Passera announced that that group planned to invest 12 billion EUR within next three years, as well as to approve credits worth 100 billion EUR to the economy.
