Royal Caribbean company decided that in the next period on it will not hire the staff from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Turkey, Macedonia, Albania, Italy, Kazakhstan and Africa, it was confirmed for Klix.ba at the agency Employment Power which is a representative of the Royal Caribbean for Bosnia and Herzegovina..

- The staff from Bosnia and Herzegovina who worked on cruisers are not tricksters, they did not go on sick leaves or similar. This information have been taken from some forum or our typical Balkanic guessing that we always tend to look for a reason for a fraud or something against ourselves. It is about the company orientation in top service for its guests and based on researches conducted on their ships over the years. They have a reason that certain part of nationalities who work at specific positions decrease or increase and that is way it happened - Sinisa Golac, the head of the Employment Power branch office for the Balkans region said for Klix.ba

Golac outlined that Employment Power agency researches the market and he checked the quality of all the candidates sent to ships so there is no room for dissatisfaction.

Letter of rejection was also sent to candidates who passed necessary procedures and tests and who were only waiting for a call when they should board. In the rejection letter they state they will compensate all the travel expenses, visa and medical insurance costs.

- We regret to inform you that at this moment we will not be able to offer you a position on Royal Caribbean cruises. We understand this decision may be disappointing and apologize for inconvenience we caused. The decision was a result of business needs, new strategy and we have to adapt. It is not a negative reflection of you personally, it is purely business decision – it was written in the letter of Royal Caribbean Cruises
