Advanced connecting techniques - Speed business meeting of representatives of Slovenian, German and American business communities in Serbia
On Thursday, October 23, 2014, at the Belgrade’s Hyatt Regencyhotel, Speed Business meeting was heldwith mutual encounter of nearly 80 businessmen members of the German-Serbianbusiness association, (DSW), AmCham and Slovenian business club (SPK).
Speed business meeting is the concept of fast meetings of high company representativesfrom different sectors with an objective of meeting, business relationsstrengthening, further development of Serbian market potentials and initiationof future cooperation between business associations.
All company reps had an opportunity to presentto a business partner in ten minutes, one-to-one, as well as to get to know thechosen collocutor better. At last night’s business meeting, nearly 80 businessmen members of Slovenian, American and German companies operating in Serbia participated Therewere nearly 15 representatives of Serbian companies which wanted to generate businesscooperation through members of business clubs such as SPK, DSW and AmCham. Theevent exclusivity is provided by participants such as NLB bank, Triglav osiguranje,DHL, UniCredit bank, Gorenje, Mace, Oracle, Telegroup, Hyatt hotel, Falkensteinerhotel, Telesign Mobile, etc.
- Eachthis meeting is a chance to generate potential cooperation and therefore it isimportant that larger number of businessmen and association members participates. Through special business plans, Triglavosiguranje defined further growth and company profit boos as even betterservice for its clients and we explained it to participants we discussed with - Matjaz Bozic, procurer at Triglav osiguranje and SPK member said.

Theimportance of connecting these associations is more important when investments,headcount and the number of firms operating in Serbia is taken into account. Slovenian investments in Serbian economyreached EUR 1,4 billion, some 500 Slovenian companies with u 35.000 people are active. In Serbia, 400 German firms with over 25.000 peopleoperate and direct investments in Serbiasince 2000 reached EUR 1,743 billionwhile the American investments total USD1,5 billion and which hire 8000 people.
The third business meeting of this type continues what inApril was started by the German-Serbian business association and theFrench-Serbian business chamber.
