Informatics Association of Serbia awarded plaques

The plaques of the Informatics Association of Serbia for outstanding contribution in the development of informatics in 2007 have been awarded in the premises of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia.

The plaques for developed and introduced information system have been awarded to "Telekom Srbija" for Telecommunication Information System (TIS) and Cultural network "Rastko Project", and company "Tia Janus" for International Book Digitalization System "Distributed Correctors Europe".

For developed and applied informatics products, the plaque has been awarded to "RB General economic Beograd" for "EVL system Fox for satellite vehicle tracking and motor pool control". The best web portal is the web presentation of daily newspaper "Politika", while Saša Stojanović received special praise for Internet portal of Soko Banja Spa.

According to the words of the President of the Jury, Nikola Marković, the plaque for scientific work in field of informatics has not been awarded this year, because none of the works received required number of votes.
