Belgrade to get the first terminal for ship waste – Documnetation development in progress
At the Danube, the Tisa and the Sava, according to previous experts ‘estimations, construction of nine terminals where waste would be removed and ships would be cleaned is essential. The Secretariat for Environment of Belgrade set aside funds for development of the study on the construction of the first waste removal terminal and the company in charge of documentation development was selected.
October 14, the Secretariat for Environment of Belgrade signed a contract on development of the Previous Feasibility Study with the main design of the construction of terminal for waste substances from vessels at the area of Belgrade with Eko-dimec. The project totals RSD 9, 42 m (VAT incl.) Beoinfo reported.
As it was previously announced, the terminal in Belgrade should be a start of the serious handling of hazardous waste as well as river protection. The Study should define the location as well as how the terminal will look like.
