ProCredit Bank and EIB prepare EUR 30 million for small and medium enterprises in Serbia

ProCredit Bank has provided another EUR 30 million of support to small and medium companies in Serbia and for approving favorable loans which will enable Serbian businessmen to continue investing in their own production and business activities much more simply, the bank announced.

The funds are a part of the financial arrangement that ProCredit Bank has had for several years now with the European Investment Bank (EIB), thanks to which companies in Serbia stand to receive financial support in the amount of EUR 50 million.

– The new credit line with the EIB is meant for investments in fixed assets, investments in permanent working assets, financing material and non-material expenses related to concrete investments and financing the expenses related to the VAT for which returns from the state cannot be realized – says Ana Milic, head of the Corporate Department at ProCredit Bank.

– In addition to a very favorable interest rate, a big advantage of all loans our bank approves from this credit lines is reflected in the fact that businessmen can get all those loans with the InnovFin guarantee scheme, that is, with considerably lower securities, which makes the realization of many projects far easier and more favorable – she adds.

Aside from this credit line, ProCredit Bank, in cooperation with the EIB and the National Bank of Serbia, also approves very favorable loans from the APEX credit line, within which the small and medium enterprises which are ProCredit Bank's clients have already received over EUR 26 million for various investments in their business activities.
